Use ps3 controller on windows 10 for minecraft
That decision removes options from the user and is anti-consumer, greedy, and unnecessary. This decision has "buy an Xbox controller" written all over it. It is not enough to only allow one controller. This most likely means the controller calibration in Minecraft was built from the ground-up for the Xbox controller. Before I bash on this decision, at least I can use a controller in the first place, so thank you. I have tried using Windows' built-in controller calibration software which fixed the input problems with the joysticks, but Minecraft still didn't change according to the calibration. Other people have trouble using the Dual-Shock controllers or third-party controllers in addition to the Pro Controller. The rest of the button inconsistencies can be fixed using in-game customization.

In-game, the joystick's top and bottom limits do not line up with what the game expects, and it makes me unable to walk forward at full speed or sprint. For example, I use a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. However, using a controller different than an Xbox controller has compatibility issues with the game. In Minecraft Windows 10 Edition, one of the options in the game is to use a controller to control the character and the UI.
